I need an advice about mkvextract program. I have a .mkv file (1280 x 544) and it has embedded subtitle (Or I believe it does). The problem is that even if I see the subtitles at movie, I cannot see the subtitles as track id in the program. So I cannot extract the subtitles. Is it possible that you can see subtitles at movie but cannot see in mkvextract program? My goal is to get rid of that subtitle or edit that subtitle so I can put my one or use an external .srt file. Thanks for your help...

Note: When I clicked the video file, it says "MKExtract cannot extract this kind of file..." Maybe this helps to understand the problem.

You can try loading the file in AviMux, deselect the subtitles and save as a new file.
If the subtitles still appear on the screen then they are probably permanent subs.
Drag the file onto the top pane, highlight it then press the 'generate data' bar.

Thanks for replying. I used your program and I couldn't see any subtitles there. I asked directly to a guy (coder of mkvtoolnix I guess) which knows better me in this subject and he told me that subtitles are directly rendered to the movie and also said that there is nothing I can do with this movie. I wouldn't open a topic about that if the movie file wasn't 6 gb and understand I downloaded for nothing. I better find a good subtitle program to not to see the rendered ones. Thanks for your help, good days...

Yes, unfortunately your subtitles are embedded in the video. Sometimes, if the subs are entirely at the bottom of the video on the black border, you could crop that and remove the subs.

Yes, you are right but unfortunately they are at the bottom of the movie (not on the black border).
