I downloaded a .srt file that was in Portuguese. I then deleted all the Portuguese and changed to English. (same .srt file) then saved.
Now the .srt file is not recognized as a .srt file.
How can I "copy and paste" everything in the .srt file and create another .srt file that will be recognized?
    Thank you

Or can I "copy and paste" the .srt file into a notepad test file and create a .srt file?

.srt files are written in ANSI code. When you make changes in the file, you must write it away in ANSI code. I have make an subtitle program where it is possible to use translation programmes (Google)
If you want it, E-mail me than I sent it to you.
