I would like someone to help me with a little problem.
I have a movie and a subtitle file on my memory disk. I can get the video on a TV by plugging the memory disk into the USB socket on the DVD player, but how can I get the subtitles to show?
I even once accidentally got them on, but I have no idea, what I did.

I would really appreciate, if someone could help me out.

Does the DVD remote have a 'subtitle' button.

The "Subtitle" button on the remote doesn't do anything. Does the DVD player perhaps recognize only certain file types or something?

What kind of video and are the subtitles a separate file from the video.

The video is AVI type and the subtitles are on separate notepad file.

    - and the subtitle file has the same name as the AVI file (movie.avi and movie.srt)?

AFAIK the player should be seeing the subtitle file.

If you put the same avi and sub file on a cd, does it play?
