subtitles only show in half of movie

    I downloaded "Waterloo.avi" and "Waterloo.srt"

    The subtitles work fine 'til about half way through and then they no longer show up on the screen. All of the movie's subtitles are there, they just don't show up on the screen.
    Can anyone tell me why and help me to fix the problem?

    Open the .srt file and verify that at the halfway point of the movie, the subtitles are showing the correct time.
