Subtitles out of Sync using VirtualDUB & VobSub

hi all, long timer reader of the forum, first post so be gentile.

i wanted to hardcode subs so i used the method described here:



but onplay back the subs are out of sync.

any surefire way to avoid this, or simply a better method of hardcoding?
might it have been a problem the subtitle .srt itself?

any help much appreciated.

 

Playing the original AVI file with the original .srt file, are they in sync.

 

no they werent,

i found the cause.
the avi was 24fps
and the sub was for a 25fps rip.

ive got the correct and sub it works fine.
