I saw in the forums several question about problems of people with VobSub after having installed it, however,my problem is that I am unable to install VobSub, since whenever I am trying to install it there appeares a message reading "Some problem caused the program to stop working: "Windows will close the program and notify you if there is an available solution". Well,I closed the said message, however there appeared no other message, which probably means that Windows did find the reason.
I need VobSub for adding permanent subtitles to avi files with VirtualDub. I used to have installed VirtualDub as well as VobSub and worked with VirtualDub quite a lot, however now - after uninstalling Windows XP and installing Windows 7 I am unable to install VobSub (I have installed VirtualDub).
