Do you still have ITunes on your computer? You can sync new touch with same iTunes acct.

You can also use a 3rd party sync app. I didn't know itunes would let you sync back. That was against their policy since that could be a copyright violation. Maybe things have change but I doubt it.

I had an issue where my computer crashed and I lost my Itunes. I did use a 3rd party app to restore but I am not sure if you are allowed to give the product names here at the forum.

mphsbelle you can use product names in advice to solve a problem. What is not allowed are free adds.

The top sticky/post in the audio forum has a link to a review of 50 sync apps. You will need to scroll through other stuff and the article is old but it is still useful.

When I had a computer crash, I used CopyTrans to transfer my music from my iPod to pc. Worked great but it does cost. I now know to backup my pc to an exterior HDD every week. Expensive lesson to learn.
