I have about 2000 videos on my PC that I would like to convert to an MP4 so I can use it on my 80GB ipod. I have been using videdora ipod converter, but even with power mode it is taking too long. Is there any program where I can just select all the videos at once, and then it converts them all? Thanks

2000? Holy crap man. I don't know a software that will select all 2000 at once, but with Videora, you can try using normal mode, and the while file is converting, click the option to convert a new one.

Also to speed up the job go to settings, under normal mode steps, click skip steps 2 and 3 (if the file name is already correct), and under conversion mode select normal.

Under the converter tab, select your output directory and maybe select "add converted videos to iTunes Library" so you don't have to add them later when syncing to ipod.

Also set CPU usage to normal, unless you have a very good CPU, this program will eat it up, and it will take longer to set the quality/settings for each video if you don’t.

I always use XVID4PSP from the 'winnydows' website - I use this for converting for my PSP and for my Ipod Touch. This does support batch processing but depending on the capability of the machine it is running on it may take a while (my laptop takes around 40mins to do a 120min movie).
