how do i connect an ipod to a computer and transfer music over

    i need help in finding out how to connect an ipod to a computer.i tryed using the sites search function but it didnt help.i tryed looking in the ipod discussion section and checked the first 2 pages but it wasnt there.can someone please provide a link to a thread with tells me how to connect an ipod to a computer in it so i can learnt how to connect an ipod to a computer and vise-versa.

    When you purchased your iPod it came with a USB cable. Attach one end of the cable to the computer and the other end to the iPod.

    @pryme_H im not an idiot i know how to connect an ipod to a pc.i just dont know what programs you use to transfer songs over.i copied a load of songs of my sisters ipod shuffle to my computer and the file names weren't right and i had the same problem a couple of years ago copying songs from an ipod classic to a pc.Ive tryed copy and pasting songs on to an ipod before and that didnt work.

    xbox, i've used itunes for a customer with a 80gig ipod.
