ipod 4th gen problem

    New here i have a 4th gen ipod nano , it will sync with itunes and play it will play hooked to power but not off battery , sent it to have new battery put in and still will not play on battery power but still sync's and play on corded power ( any ideas how to fix this?)

    Does it charge when you hook it up to the power outlet?
