hi just bought a new 3rd gen touch to replce my old nano. Have given the old ipod to my girlfriend and she has put her own music on it.
When I installed my new ipod on my pc it tried to sync all her music on to it. How do i stop this happening so i can install my music onto my new ipod?

    Thanks guys

open up itunes, under Devices, click on your ipod. Go to the Summary tab, and make sure "Manually manage music and videos" is checked.

You'll then have to manually drag the songs/videos from the library to your ipod, but this should stop it from automatically syncing.
