ipod touch wont exit restore mode

    i tried restore using itunes didnt work ,i tried holding the power button and home button and nothing ,i tried a program name ireb nothing i tried in itunes holding the shift and restore to put a downloaded firmware and nothing what can i do thanks

    It is likely you activated a security routine by doing something. Itunes has the ability to kill your ipod.

    Try doing an alternate restore procedure. While the device is off, press and hold the home button, and simultaneously plug the iPod Touch to your computer.

    The procedure is actually for a frozen iPod Touch (device stays forever on apple screen), but being that you haven't tried it out, and since it's a standard restore procedure, maybe you could give it a try.
