making a bootable usb flash drive

    HI WEN TRYING TO FORMAT MY USB TO MAKE A BOOTABLE 1 USING THE HP STORAGE TOOL I GET THE FORMAT PART OK BUT WEN IT MAKES THE DOS BOOT UP I GET

    the type of the new file system is FAT32
    Volume serial number

    This has nothing to do with ipods. Try build your own PC.

    Not being an expert I suspect you screwed it up. Maybe you should have just made it bootable. You needed to check to see if your flash drive could accept the format you put on it. If it is not compatible you killed it.
