Plug in picture?

    I had to re-format my 40g ipod. Then itunes said that the final proses was to connect into an external source. (Whatever that meant) The ONLY thing it does is show me a picture of an adaptor with an arrow pointing to a socket. So I bought a charger. ...Nothing. Any help would be appreciated.

    Nothing? Anything would help. even an, "Never heard of that," or something.
