second ipod in itunes

    please help i have asked this question before and thought i understood but i dont i am pulling my hair out,ok i have an ipod classic and have just got an iphone,i want to be able to use the same itunes programme for both of these items on the same computer,i want it to recognise the two different items and load up the the playlist that goes with each ipod/iphone how do i do this cause i am so stuck thanks

    I do not think you can do it. itunes wants you to buy the music again for each device. If you get tricky with it it will kill your players. You might try uninstalling itunes and try a different app. You can't leave it up because it will attack your player. This year they have the death punch. You will not know what hit you!

    Media Monkey or Winamp dosen't can if you fee the music to 20 players but then they don't make 90% of their money selling tunes and apps at the itune store.

    If that fails you could try formatting the drive and copying the file system identical or find out how to start from a wiped disk from the third pary disk vendors.
