transfer of apps to new ipod touch

    I gave my daughter my old ipod touch 4th gen 8gb and bought a new ipod touch 4th gen. 32gb and I am trying to get a copy of the apps off of hers and and onto mine. we tried everything with hers but nothing seems to work. any ideas or programs to do this.
