Toshiba HD A-30 won't play some copied discs

On many computer burnt discs, I get a message " not DVD format" and can't play the disc. But it will play OK on my Pioneer and Panasonic players OK. Is it the fault of the player or the Disc? Philips DVD+R double layer discs used.

 

It may be fault of your player. Just check out first by hardware person.

 

There seems to be general agreement that the best DL disks are Verbatim DVD+R DL and they should be burned using ImgBurn.
