Help needed. Please advise..

Hi folks, this is my first post to this forum and I am in need of a little help.
I have a Hm 9001-s Linux based media sat box and I was wondering how I can get Xbmc or similar on the box itself for movie and series streaming on demand. My friend has a different box and has said items installed on his (1channel) and it's fantastic.
I was also wondering if it was possible to download the software through the web browser on the actual box itself. Any help would be very much appreciated.
