ram issues with internal install on xp32bit

    hello, i have windows xp 32bit as my main os, i installed ubuntu inside xp, i also have 4 gigs of ram. in xp it only shows 2.7 gigs of ram, is there a way to get all 4 gigs to show up in linux?

    No, because you are already running under the constraints of XP.

    I don't understand why people run a modern OS inside an obsolete one.. it mystifies me.

    i know what your talking about, im in the process of backing up my xp files to make the complete switch to linux. im just getting started learning linux. and thats what i thought about the ram.
