Hi, i have a Macbook pro and have a strange problem with transferring files to an external hard drive. When i copy a file to the external hard drive it creates another file under the same name except with an underscore at the beginning. These files do not show up on the mac itself only when i plug the external HDD to my t.v to play the videos. For example when i transfer say a short home video named "holiday1" from my mac to the external hard drive it will transfer that file and add another one named "_holiday1" on to the hard drive too, but this file wont work at all or show up on the mac. This happens on everything i use, pen drives and different external hard drives.
this happens because macintoshes create log files usually with a _ before or after them there isn't anything you can do about it sorry it just does it
