Mac Launch Pad

    This may sound a bit dumb, but I'm new to working on MacBook Pro. Somehow the Icon for Adobe Photoshop CS 6 no longer shows in "Launch Pad". I tried to download software for filter plug-ins and got a pop-up screen that indicated that the software could not find PS CS6. I'm thinking that because the PS icon is missing in the "Launch Pad" that the software does not know where to find PS.
    I can open PS from "Finder"...no problem...I just need to find how to get the PS icon to show up again in the "Launch Pad".

    do you have the latest cs6 updates installed for the plugin to function???
