So I was on my MacBook 13" White and doing some work. Worked great! Next day I powered on and I only get a white light right. No chime, no nothing. The dvd drive wont accept disc.

I removed both memory and test in another computer and they both worked great. Im aware of gpu reballing but this is not the case here because I should still here the chime or having the dvd respond to disc.

I did holding of power button for 5 secs crap, reset pram....nothing.

Anyone here can tell me what component is damaged or what to look for, PLEASE?

I've taken out the logicboard and it's now in my hand.

    Any help will be great!

    Regards

I think the hdd has died.. put it back together and try booting a ppc enabled live linux distro.. they do exist but i'm pissed and can't be fucked finding one right now.. google live linux cd ppc

otherwise throw the proprietary pile of shit at a wall and buy a scrapper and install a proper bsd unix os..

Hey Paula, by removing the HDD I should still see some form of life. Also, the superdrive is not responding - nothing - dead. Im gonna get a new logicboard BUT I do want to know what the culprit is. I cannot boot from nothing - its dead. Only the solid white light next to the IR port.
