    Hi everyone

I am having a really weird problem since yesterday night. All of sudden this started happening and I have no idea what caused it. I was using my pc normally (win7) and it went really really slow, normally its firefox which if its been on for too long causes computer to slow down. So I end tasked it. Tried to open it again as normal but computer went even slower and it literally just froze. I just simply press the restart button as I thought restarting the computer will fix this problem as it always does.

When I restarted my computer I just simply couldn't get back into windows 7. It was really slow. So I restarted again trying to go into windows xp instead as I really needed to use the computer. As soon as I got into xp It brought up the chkdsk. I let it do it for as long as it wanted to but then it got stuck. I restarted again and since after that I cant get into xp or windows 7. They both bring up the chkdsk screen. On windows 7 It gives send and dont send error and that this problem can not be repaired and on xp its even more weird.

If I skip the chkdsk on both OS it will take me to the usual logic screen but take really really long getting there and as soon as I login the computer will restart if its win 7 or if its xp it will take a while and than show me blue screen.

This is the weirdest problem. It makes no sense out of no where this started happening. Do you think something happened to the hard drive?? or is it the operating system itself??? The only thing I can think of to try is to boot with win 7 bootable cd and try to repair the windows itself? Or should I do that for xp first??

Please help, any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Just an update. I restarted again and let chkdsk run in win 7 from scratch and it did finish the chkdsk fixed all the problems and restarted the computer. When computer restarted its very slow. This time chkdsk did not appear and login screen came. I entered the password click login the welcome logo came but all this is going on really slow. Than a black screen where I can see the mouse's pointer and can move it but not the actual windows in the background. I am still waiting on something to happen as this screen has been there for ages. Like last time it might just restart the computer but I doubt that I will be seeing something on the screen.

During all this time and not just this time with anything that happens the system light is just continuously on as computer has been used.thx

Well since you did a clean install I can only see it being a hardware problem. And if you haven't changed anything inside then I think your computer may be over heating.
