    Hey guys,

I booted up my computer this morning, and to my surprise the computer had frozen after the welcome screen. I tried again, and this time around it froze during the welcome screen. I ran it in safe mode and it didnt freeze.

    Help?

    Hi MiiKa_K,

First two things to try are,

1- In safe mode, open up the command prompt running as administrator and run a chkdsk by typing,

chkdsk c: /r with the spaces, you will find command prompt in accessories, right click and select run as administrator. select run at next reboot when the option pops up.

2- If that does not rectify it, in safe mode, try a restore point to a previous working date

    Hi,

Oddly enough I kept on trying to reboot my computer, and on the third time it worked! I am still very eager of doing something about this, even though it seems to do this at random times.

    Thanks,

    Miika
