Connection Timing Out

    Freakin' annoying. Every time ya come back to your computer ya look down and don't see the little globe next to your network icon... ya go through disabling the adapter... re-enabling and then hey! it's back... Why can't it just keep the darn connection the whole time, right? The monitor just went off cause the computer was idle for like 10 minutes.. geez!

    I've tried the "power management tab" in the device manager to not "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"... like EVERY other forum suggests.. HA! that didn't work for me..

    Well for starters do you know what kind NIC you are using, and what OS are you running? Are you running XP, Vista, or 7?
