Hi. I am having a problem with windows XP file sharing server. When i try to share a folder (oven LAN) i get confronted with an error, something along the lines of this "error trying to share file the server service is not started". i have managed to solve this problem by typing "net start lanmanserver" in command prompt. but the service does not start on boot up, I think it was because i installed registry mechanic and shut down some unnecessary services, i have since uninstalled it. Does anyone know how to manually configure the service to start up on boot?
