    hello,

i have recently recovered my laptop using a recovery disc and there is a slight problem. some website addresses are showing font/text i can not read either in the address bar or in the actual site. they font displayed is

if you can see the text properly, then let me explain what i can see. 2 boxes, 2x2

in box 1, top line it says 00, in bottom line it says 15.

in box 2, top line it says 00, in bottom line it says 1B.

does it say this because i have fonts missing? and will installing microsoft word help?

    thanks

That typically happens when you don't have required foreign language fonts installed.

Have you applied ALL of the Windows updates since you recovered the Windows?
