My parents just bought a aspire 7720 from a friend. I was using the line in to record my band, it was working, all the sudden "click click click click" no sound either, I tried to fix it, I dont know what is wrong I disabled the sound card and no clicking. so I know its the sound card I tried system restore and it froze. I pulled the battery and tried to start it in safe mode, now im stuck! in system repair and It doesnt find anything wrong and it just keeps doing it..EX: boot into safemode and then system repair, cant do anything click "finish" and the computer restarts and does it again! and again! and again! please help!!!!
i stuffed up the sound on my mums old computer once.reinstalled the sound driver and it worked again.
