Help ! Need to reformat my acer desktop pc ?

    I need to reformat my pc it has lots of problems booting up into windows really strugling to boot into windows .The pc is only 9 months old and still under warrenty but id rather try and sort it out myself .So far i have tried rebooting with f10,f11,f12,f1,f2, and all of those holding alt and also tried holding ctrl ,still nothing with recovery .
    I have also tried acer erecovery manager and the restore to factory settings is greyed out for some reason .I am running out of ideas here please help if anyone has ideas ?

    i think with acer you have to make your own recovery disks i think thru recovery manager & you need about 1-3 dvd disks. read the user's manual on how to do that.

    If you are able too make a set of recovery disks be sure not to skimp on the quality of the media,once you use them & they work fine make a copy of them unless the acer lets you make more then make another set as backup,it would pay to invest in an imaging software like ghost or acronis this will avoid time wasting next time,basically it'll take 10-15 min's to be backup & running with a fully updated operational OS with whatever software you normally use,saves stuff'n around reinstalling everything
