I got infected by a virus/malware that kept opening pop-up windows. But the real trouble started when I deleted it with my antivirus. When I restarted the computer and typed my password at the Windows logon, I got looped back to the logon screen. And I've been stuck at the logon screen ever since. How do I fix this?

Safe mode doesn't fix it either. In safe mode, I can click on Administrator without password but it still loops me back to logon screen.

Tried other modes, I still couldn't get in.

id only say this when all other options are explored
but when that happens, Do you have "recovery disks" or "recovery partition"
some 1 else may be able to help you try "safe mode with command" as im not to familar with the commands

I recently ran into this problem . I fixed it with Hiren boot cd . I loaded up the cd then enter into dos tools then go to dos4ntfs then typed chkdsk /f . The program ran and after it finish the boot loop was gone .
