yeah I have a asus notebook with about 8.9" size screen not sure what model; a 3gb internal hard drive and windows xp professional install. I need net framework to get this 57.5 kb exe file to run. I only got about 86mb memory left and net framework need 256mb to install. so is there a way to install net framework to a usb hard drive or any alternative you guys can think of? any help will be appreciate.

I think it's an integral part of windoze and installs to the system32 directory along with all the other crap..

guess you should shift some junk of your cluttered drive instead.

    and
these things do not go together. even the barest of XP installs reach 3GB. It would be best to either use different OS or update hard drive size.
