I am currently on Win 7 64 bit, and I was wondering would it be possible for me to install 32 bit as well without causing any problems or messing up my files?

I need to install 32 bit for some programs that apparently are compatible with 32 bit only.

    Thanks

If you used the entire disk for the install you must shrink the original partition to make room for the new install but yes you can install windows 7(or even Vista) again just select custom install and select unallocated space and install.

You can also install a 32 bit virtual machine and run it inside of your current 64 bit Windows. It's easy and there are free programs that you can use such as VirtualBox and MS VirtualPC. If your application will run in a virtual machine, then I'd recommend going this route, just make sure that your computer has plenty of RAM (at least 2GB).
