I've recently downloaded internet explorer 9 and I now find that there's a conflict with adobe flash playe 10. I went through the process of uninstalling explorer nine by selecting programs & features in the control panel using the view installed updates to remove it.
when the computer rebooted,I expected explorer 9 to be replaced by explorer 8 however no change occured. I re checked programs & features again and found that explorer 9 was deleted. Any ideas as to how i can overcome this problemas I do need flash player 10 to run some of my programs

Latest version of flash player is Adobe Flash Player 10.3.181.34 which you can Get By Click Here I just installed using IE9 and it works fine, there may be other issues going on in your computer however I highly recommend switching to Firefox anyways. Just uninstall any other version(s) of adobe flash player you may have trying installing from the given link and let me know whats going on.

jt141990 Already done that but still no joy I have now reinstalled and uninstalled IP9 several times but whilst it is gone in updates it is still on the computer. The uninstall I done is as per instructions from microsoft.
I have looked UP other forums on microsoft and found that this is a common problem

Moderator:- tried a system restore but what was available to me did not take me back before I installed IP9

Have you removed the registry and app data for all Adobe Flash Player content as well?

I can assure you it does in fact work, I never use IE so I opened it up when I made that comment, went to the link I gave you and installed it, no troubles at all, as I stated before it may be a registry entity problem, have you completely removed it from app data folder and registry entries as well?

As far as adobe stating it will not work, I see nothing there and here you go for reference http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/systemreqs/ if it did in fact not work they would have to make a pointer accrediting the issue as they did 1-6 under the the second table.

I think that IE9 is not compatible with flash player 10. I suggest that you change your browser like firefox it is compatible with flash player.
