I've this dynamic link library file error that appears on my desktop after every retart. This problem began after idiotically allowing a trojan bomb loose in my system. Once I cleaned my system completely, this error message remained. I've searched the net for anything that would help but I've found nothing. I have no idea what software this belongs to. The error, of course, is a RUNDLL error, which states Error loading C:\WINDOWS\Lereagng.dll The specified module could not be found. If I knew what it belongs to, I could most likely replace it. It's not something that can be fixed with some registry cleaner or registry curing type app. My only other alternative would be to go through each app on my system, background check all .dll files each of them until I come up with the app that requires it. I've got a lot of software! That could take forever, seemingly!

Hopefully someone knows and will pass it on to me.

    Thanks

look in your msconfig\startup & remove the checkmark that references that file. restart windows as it will ask you to do that & put a checkmark in the box that appears so it popup box doesn't appear again.

Thanks to both ddp and pcrepair for the info. I'd already taken care of this using the method ddp suggested, prior to reading it. In the future, I will also remember pcrepair's method as well.

    Thanks again.
