    Hey all,

My MS Word icons for 2003 and below docs are not showing properly as they should for 2007 docs... I've attached an image somewhere in this post. Anyone know how to fix this??? I've put up with this for half the year now >.< Thanks!

I don't own MS Word, but I think there should be something like "File associations" in MS Word options.

If there's no such menu, you could try typing "winword /r" in the Run prompt and see if that does something magical. Also repair install could be worth trying.

Right click, properties, in the general tab near the top it will say "opens with" click that and choose the program you want. it will change the icon accordingly.
