mouse freezes on startup

I use windows 7 on my labtop,i have a logitech Lx3 optical mouse,the mouse will freeze shortly after startup,i downloaded a new driver from logitech,did not help.

Does this disturb you? I had similar "problem" with an older pc, but I didn't care. Maybe it's just because the startup needs so much cpu time?
Or does it last frozen?

I put the labtop in sleepmode every night,upon startup the next day the mouse will freeze upon startup i then have to restart the computor.
