i have hooked up my pc to my hdtv and it is workin ok apart from the desktop is cut off from the screen and also when there is boxes open i cnt see the the 3 little icons to close and so on. i have a tool with nvidia control pannel were i can resize my desktop but when i do shrink it the changes do not save even when apply is clicked it keeps reverting back!! any help would be much apprecaited cheers!!
go to display properties and then setting and change the size from there also take note of the display:
