The situation in the following. I have a desktop here and since 2 weeks ago it stopped connecting to my lan. It keeps saying "unindentified network, limited connection". But EVEN WHEN I UNPLUG the lan cable, it keeps getting the same message.

So I assume that the pc is trying to connect to some hidden secre network (i know thats stupid ^^ just gessing). So when i plug the cable, it doesnt even try to connect to real network.

It re-re-re-re-intalled the driver multiple times.

Outside formatting the pc, Im out of guesses.

I dont know if this is the best place to put that. I actually only used the xbox 360 forum before, so im new at this part. Hope you guys can aid me.

If you made no changes, then the problem might be the LAN adapter itself, as this is usualy what they do when they die. You could try going to the network settings and making sure that it is not set to a static IP. If it is set to a static IP, then try dynamic. If it is set to dynamic, then try static.
