    Hello

Heres my problem. My Windows 7 crashed totally. I have a lot of files I need to recover from the Hard Drive. Windows recovery options dont seem to work, and I have no recovery disc, cause my laptop hasn't got a dvd drive.
Anyways, I googled for help and found Puppy Linux, that could halep me save the files on my hard drive. I have a mac, and I was wondering, can I somehow install the puppy linux on my usb memory stick, and then boot my windows computer from the stick and copy the files to another usb stick? I have googled for instructions to do this, but either im stupid, or blind, and couldnty find anything useful. Anyone have ideas how to do this?
