Hi, my laptop has slowed down... I need to reformat it, I have an original copy of it installed, but I dont have the CD... How can I reformat my laptop without it?
You'll need the CD or DVD. Call the manufacturer and see if they will send you it. Or borrow it from a friend, you'll need a legit key either way.
you cannot reformat a computer w/o a cd or dvd, either a recovery disc from your computer maker or a windows setup disc.
see if you have a restore partition. check your boot screen for clues. otherwise, get a install disc.
