ok i was missing the file NTLDR n getting error NTLDR Is Missing so i reinstalled windows xp it wont boot into where u would see the start button n some kind of install but windows installs the drivers n stuff and rebots then it loads into the windows loading screen and then goes to a black screen and stays there also is there supposed to be a wire in the master slave slot of the hdd
yes i reformatted with xp cd i was just using the pc yesterday then i got NTLDR Is Missing error then i reformatted with xp cd n then the black screen after the windows loading screen if its how could i fix this xp no i dont think so been usin this xp cd 2-6 years done good got it installed on my laptop aswell n its working bad hdd hmm i dont know if it is that but i can easily fix that last file loading in safe mode windows\system32\drivers\agpCPQ.sys checked the last time bios have been updated 1999 but i feel it aint that because i was just using the pc tried loading last known working and i get windows wont load because the following file is missing or corrupt windows\system32\config\system
ok i remember the 1st time i installed win xp to it n there was something up like i had to install it 2 r 3 times and switched dvd drives but it finally worked now im temped to uninstall my dvd drive 1 at a time n trying that also pushing f8 im able to load alot more options if any 1 needs detell of those options n could help ill be glad to post those
ok i toke my 2nd hdd out my dvd burner out and my floppy disk drive out rite now im trying to install win xp n see if it will install it correctly it mite be theres a lil lite blinking on the hdd hope it works
Might pay to put a sticky note on inside of computer so when you have to go thru this rigmoral again you'll know what to do
