subresync does not start on XP

    I have installed VobSub on 2 different XP computers with the same result: theoretically the installation was successfull but subresync and submux cannot be started. the two configure utilities, the VobSub cutter and the uninstall are working, but the only thing I need is the subresync to convert .sub files to .srt and I cannot start subresync.

    Has anybody seen this problem or does anybody know a work around?
