Hi I'm using vista 64bit ultimate. Im trying to restore my system to a earlier date as I have moved some file such as music documents & pictures from my old drive but have done it incorrectly & want restore to how it was. The system restore is only showing me yesterday dates. I'm not getting the older than 5 days tab? I tried logging in safe mode but still cant see this tab. Can anyone help me respore my pc to a previous date?
your best bet in the future is to go the edit menu in explorer and undo move when you mess up. you will notice system restore does not "affect your documents, pictures, and other personal data."
