All right, so I'm using Windows XP and I decided to use the system restore function/restore my computer back to factory setting. But I've used this function before and when I did, my files would 'reappear' onto my Desktop. However, I just used the system restore function again, and my Desktop files did not 'appear' this time. However, checking my computer's free space, there was no change in memory space, so the files must be somewhere, right?

My question is, how do I access those files, assuming they are still on my computer's memory?

    Thanks for your time.
