Task Scheduler runs all programs in silent/hidden mode. WHY?

I have XP and all the programs in "Schedule Tasks" initiate in hidden mode. I can see them in Task Manager but not the program windows. How can I make them visible running from scheduler? I have tried "/max" in batch file and also visible commands using visual basic (vbs) but to no avail.
