My friend has a computer that upon booting up it gives three options for Operating Systems, There is a Windows XP professional, a Windows XP home, and than another Windows XP professional. I would understand if one was Vista or Windows 7 but why three of XP? Is their a way to delete two of theses without reformating? Thanks in advance

The system has probably had 2 other operating systems on it before the one he has now, some may have been overwriten or deleted, others might still be there and working (or complete, but not working).

You can remove the entries by right-clicking on the "my computer" on the desktop, selecting properties, advanced, startup and recovery>settings.
