Not sure if this is the right forum but here goes. I have just built the computer. It has two 1TB hard drives. I installed WIN 7 32 Home Premium only to find out that since it is the upgrade I can’t install without first installing XP. So how do I uninstall WIN 7 when I can’t get to the program or to a command prompt? Could I just install XP and WIN 7 on the second drive and then be able to format the first drive? If so would the steps be? Appreciate any help, I know enough to be dangerous :=)

moved to correct forum as not a build a new pc issue. boot off your xp cd, press f8 to agree, press esc to not repair, delete partition, make new partition, quick format & continue loading xp.

Thanks for the help I also received another solution which worked fine, Reboot from drive with CD/DVD essentially reinstalling. Click custom install and all went fine.
