Hello, I've got an HP pavillion laptop that I'm trying to install my copy of Windows XP Home Edition on, however, I've tried before and setup never completed. When I try to boot up, it says "Setup is resuming..." and then a blue screen loads, and I get the error message "Insufficient system resources exist to complete the API", and then almost immediatley restarts the computer. It's been a few years since I've had to deal with technical issues such as this, so I'm a bit rusty. Isn't there a way to just wipe the computer and try again?? boot off the xp cd & let windows load to the point where you can delete the cartition, make new partition then do a quick format.
