Hey everyone. I Purchased a Toshiba Satellite T3000 yesturday and it was loaded with Vista home premium. Anyways I set it up nicely and went to connect the internet. Im using an ADSL wired connection that I used with my older Satellite M50 and it worked well for years.

Anyways I connect to the internet (or use an internet based program like google earth), begin to use it and the internet dies. At the bottom of the screen it notifies with an exclamation mark 'limited or no connectivity'. It offers a new Ip address and resetting some internal thing and then allows internet again.....for another 30-60 seconds.

I have tried the CD provided by the internet provider to no avail. I can plug in my mobile internet USB key and it works fine, but I want to use the much higher speed of my hardwired internet.

    Can anyone help? Much appreciated.

I would manualy set the IP adress and see if that fixes things.
