Hi, hoping someone can point me in the right directione here...

I've been using Vista (business) for a while now, without to many problems, apart from all the geeneric vista issues.
Anyway, last month I, erm, "came into possesion" of a Windows 7 disk, so installed it and gave it a try. All worked well, and I actually quite liked 7.
Anyways, the 30 day trial period ended, so i reinstalled Vista, thinking i'd wait for 7 to be released then bag myself a discounted student copy :).
So, I reinstalled vista, and went about reinstalling all my programs. I have a separate drive for all my files (D:), with windows installed ibC: as usual.

I seem to have come across a problem with the permissions to acess my D: drive. Whenever i try to move a file or create a new one, UAC asks me for permission, which it has never done before. I give permission, and it lets me do what i like.
However, any program that saves data to the D: drive (office programs, utorrent, even paint) are getting a "permission denied" error when they try to save.
I have also found that utorrent now prompts me to run it as adminstrator whenever i open it or run a torrent, which is getting pretty annoying.
If i dont run utorrent as admin i get a "permission denied" error from utorrent

I've tried everything i can think of to fix this, i have granted my account full permissions on the folders and still no joy.
I know turning off UAC could fix this, but the system not working as it should bugs me.

    Any replies much appreciated!
    Thanks.
